I am a 74 yr old man with one prior knee replacement, performed by another Orthopedic Surgeon. Knowing the signs of an arthritic joint, I sought out a new surgeon for my second knee. I wanted to write a positive review of Dr Noble during my first week of recovery, but held off thinking it was too close to post surgery to give an objective review. It’s now been 7 weeks and I am so happy with my progress I want to share my ‘Noble Experience’. I went to Dr Noble for a second opinion, as the first orthopedic surgeon did not impress me, he spent all of 5 minutes repeating his mantra, ‘Robot, Robot, Robot’. During my first appointment with Dr Noble, I saw his assistant Patrick. He spent the time telling me about the procedure and the importance of rehab, while interviewing me and my history. Soon after, Dr Noble came in after being briefed by Patrick with my x-rays. He spent unrushed time with me explaining the details of how he would proceed and his thoughts on how best to treat my particular issues. I left his office so happy I got a second opinion. A few days prior to the surgery, my wife and I met with Dr Noble and his assistant Sharon. There I was given prescriptions and an abundance of detailed information about the equipment & medications I was going to need post surgery. The idea of ‘same day’ surgery at a Surgi Center was a little scary, but I can tell you unequivocally that I received better care at their Same day Surgery Center than I would have gotten in any hospital. I arrived at 6am, walked somewhere around 1:30pm, and on my way home at 3pm. The first night is a breeze, for there is adequate residual drugs to get you thru the night and next day when the home nurse checks in on you. The information that Sharon had given my wife and I at our meeting prior to surgery was a detailed spreadsheet of medications with Dates, Times and Dosages of the prescribed medications. This medication matrix made recovery so much easier. Dr Noble’s surgical skills, Pre-PT and Post PT programs has led me to what I think is a fabulous outcome. Could not be happier, I highly recommend him and his team.

Dr. Noble is one of those rare individuals who is constantly seeking ways to improve and refine the art of joint repair and replacement. The doctor is downright compulsive when it comes to detail and if one follows his protocol it will ensure a speedy recovery with minimal pain.
